The Venue

The Ponderosa Mountain Venue is unique because it boasts a 180-degree view that begins in the west and pans all the way north showing off the majestic Boston Mountains. The breathtaking view of the winding West Fork of the White River is absolutely stunning. Sincerely the best view in all of Northwest Arkansas.

The Venue is built out of reclaimed lumber on the outside. These timbers were once telephone poles used at the local baseball field in Greenland, Arkansas where the owners, Denise and Ronnie, went to school.  If these poles could talk - oh the stories they could tell us! The wins, the homeruns, the strikeouts, the heartaches, as well as the pure joy you could see in the children they watched play ball.

Ronnie & Denise used a sawmill that they purchased to cut the telephone poles into lumber, some of which was used to make the rafters for the porch.  All of the beams are white oak (upstairs and downstairs) cut from the trees that used to reside where the venue parking lot is now.
